Michigan is made up of many cultures. The City of Detroit has had a large African American
community since the 1920s. The American Arab Chamber of Commerce,
located in Dearborn Michigan, help the Arab American businesses grow and flourish.
The Polish Americans have a very large community in Hamtramck where many first settled when they came to
Michigan. Hart plaza hosts many ethnic events and festivals during the summer months.
