The food in Michigan is a multi million dollar industry. The Michigan Department of Agriculture regulates the
food industry. We also have the Michigan Food and Beverage Association
which is a trade organization that represents the state. Its members include independent grocers,
convenience store operators, local food chains, restaurants, food establishments, taverns,
gas station operators, manufacturers, processors, wholesalers and brokers.
